About Me
Olivia Chapman, Traditional Artist Making Paintings & Drawings in Ohio
Olivia was born in Alaska in 1995 and began drawing at a young age. After moving to New Jersey at age eight, she continued to develop her creative practice as a personal and expressive outlet. She later attended a girls’ residential program in Indiana before beginning college, where she committed fully to pursuing art as a career.
In 2019, Olivia graduated with Distinction from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, focusing on Painting and Drawing. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of mediums—including acrylic, oil, and watercolor—but has returned to graphite drawing, her first love and current focus.
She has exhibited her work in galleries across Ohio, in other states, and through online platforms. Olivia now works from her home studio, where she lives with her husband and two dogs, creating and selling artwork both online and within her local community.
