Rapunzel, Original Drawing in Vintage Gold Frame

$50.00

Have you felt stuck by something that you think should be within your own power to fix? Rapunzel was stuck in a tower for most of her life. I admit, sometimes (a lot of the time) I might like to be alone in a tower. But this piece represents more than introversion for me. I resonated with the theme of being trapped, as I sometimes feel trapped by depression. Moods of various kinds, sometimes even physical limitations, keep me from experiencing the life I want to have. I feel like it should be within my own power to heal, strengthen, train and stretch myself to be the version I think I should be. But it usually doesn’t work out that way. Instead, I have to look at my trials not as something that I personally have to overcome, but something that I can rest in and give to God. You might need that reminder too. I hope that the owner of this drawing can find the rest in giving whatever it is that makes you feel trapped over to God. And of course, it will look beautiful in your home at the same time!
